2022 is the year of the Tiger and to help you prepare for the year ahead, we asked Chinese astrologer Mina Zheng from Feng Shui Australia to share her 2022 Chinese zodiac predictions.

The Chinese zodiac is based on a 12-year cycle, represented by 12 unique animals who bring their own attributes to the year based on their relationship to the Tiger.

The Tiger is brave and straightforward, born to lead, it’s active, innovative, fearless and rebellious. It is one of the Travel Horses within the Chinese zodiac, indicating there will be a lot of movement, change and travelling this year.

Find your Chinese zodiac below to discover what’s in store for you!

Tiger

It’s the year of the Tiger, making 2022 the Own Fate year. Your journey will have ups and downs, so it is important to watch out for what you say and what you do. If you lay low, focus on the basics and self-improvement, then there will be new opportunities ahead.

Rat:

Dragon:

Zodiac years: 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024

You will have a mix of wonderful and challenging experiences this year. Take things easy at work and don’t be overly ambitious – go step-by-step and remember that stable progress is better than no progress. Make sure you work hard in order to achieve a breakthrough, particularly when it comes to studying, exams and work promotions.

Horse:

Zodiac years: 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026

The elements of Tiger and Horse combine to create a ‘half fire formation’ which is good for friendships and partnerships. You will meet helpful people at work and achieve many goals. Sheep:

Zodiac years 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, 2027

Use this year to focus on yourself – learn new skills, be more spiritual and love yourself more to improve your inner strength and potential. When it comes to finances, manage them carefully and be conservative.

Pig:

Zodiac years: 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031

The year ahead looks positive and promising. It is a good year to try your best at gaining everything you desire. However, still be careful – if you encounter any troubles make sure to remain calm, show tolerance and not compete with others.

Rooster:

Zodiac years: 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, 2029
