Arna Singleton - RBTGRL
Arna Singleton a.k.a RBTGRL is the choreographer for the dancers presenting Dance Meets Fashion. Arna is a professional hip hop/urban choreographer, dancer and performer. Her most recent highlights were auditioning and rewarded to dance with Madonna in Canada to launch Hard Candy Fitness.
Her amazing talents have catapulted her to the forefront of the Melbourne urban dance scene and has allowed her to showcase her works throughout various avenues such as TV, stage shows, festivals and music videos. Her numerous credits include – Fame: The Ultimate High School Musical, So You Think You Can Dance, Australia’s Got Talent, Everybody Dance Now, The Good Friday Appeal, The Footy Show, The 7pm Project, Undrgrnd, Australian Dance Festival, Short and Sweet Dance Festival and Once Upon A Time. This is but a small sample of the extensive dance exposure and experience that Arna has generated for herself and highlights just some of the remarkable achievements that she has accomplished.
She has elevated her skills and technique by taking opportunity to learn from hip hop dance greats such as Suga Pop (Electric Boogaloos/Rock Steady Crew), Mr Wiggles (Electric Boogaloos/Rock Steady Crew), Popin' Pete (The Electric Boogaloos), Greg Campellock Jnr (The Lockers), Shabba Doo (The Lockers, Breakdance - the movie) and Buddha Stretch (MopTop/Elite Force Crew).
In addition, Arna become a finalist at the Victorian Dance Awards the categories of favourite female choreographer, favourite dance event and favourite dance online video in 2015. She is also the director and choreographer for the all-female dance crew, Hollabak. She currently choreographs four dance crews with her oldest age crew successfully placing 2nd at UDO and winning a trip to Glasgow to compete at the international final this year. Her 10 year old soloist also became National Champion at Showcase this year as well as auditioning and being chosen to dance with Justin Bieber on rage this year.
Arna produces hip hop/urban dance events, about to celebrate the 13th year of Step Off (large dance crew competition), and continues to teach her craft to eager participants throughout numerous schools and community centres.
