Northland Shopping Centre is proud to announce the installation of seven new electric vehicle (EV) charging bays, located on the top level of the Myer multi-level car park. This exciting addition supports our commitment to sustainability.

Installed in partnership with Exploren (formerly ENGIE), the site features two 200 kW Kempower DC fast-charging units. These chargers can power most EVs from 0% to 80% in under an hour, depending on the vehicle.

This installation is part of the final phase of ARENA-funded charging stations delivered across the Vicinity portfolio, supported through the Future Fuels Fund. The program has delivered 110 EV charge points across 29 Vicinity centres becoming the largest public EV charging partnership in Australia.

It marks a significant milestone in our broader sustainability and electric-mobility journey.

EV drivers can easily locate and monitor charger availability via supported platforms.

We celebrated the launch with a small ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday 3 October, joined by our local MP Nathan Lambert.

Thank you to all involved in bringing this to life.
