Northland Graffiti Wall01 Jan 2016
Northland, in partnership with the City of Darebin, are working to create an artist wall of graffiti on the retaining wall facing the Darebin Creek.
The project has been commenced in the hopes that this heavily used section of land will now be more welcoming and inviting for our local residents.
We have some well recognised artists from around the country working on the wall along with some of the local children from the Youth Centre. Ages vary from mid-thirties into early teens. One of the artist who completed the recent artwork at the Reject Shop has returned for this project. A number of the artists were also involved in designing and painting the original graffiti work on this wall back in 1991- They have returned specifically for this project.
