We’ve hit refresh and excited to inform you that we will be implementing Centre upgrades to create a more modern, luxurious and pleasurable shopping experience for you, our valued customer.
Following community feedback, we will further enhance our extensive and exciting fashion offering at Northland by implementing upgrades to the fashion mall which runs around a loop in what we refer to as the ‘race course’. This will span from Myer down to Kmart, Kmart to Target, Target to Napoleon Perdis and then Napoleon Perdis back to Myer.
Over the coming months, you’ll see changes like:
These upgrades will commence towards the end of June and will take approximately 4 months. There won’t be any inconvenience to our customers as all proposed works will be undertaken at night, outside of Centre shopping hours. What are the upcoming changes for Northland?
We are constantly reviewing the customer experience at Northland and remain committed to providing an easy, convenient and pleasurable shopping experience for our community. This year we are implementing upgrades to Northland’s fashion mall.
Over the coming months, you’ll see new furniture pods with custom seating complete with lush green plantings that bring the outside in; new floor tiles in designated areas around the main thoroughfare as well as ceiling treatments and lighting upgrades. The centre’s main skylight outside Myer will also get a new design treatment creating a more modern and luxurious feel in line with our retail offering in the area

Subject to final approvals, these works are scheduled to kick off in late June and we anticipate works will be complete by end of October 2021.
Why are you doing further upgrades of Northland?
The inner north community and our retail offering has changed and we’re excited to change alongside it. The upgrades to our fashion mall are in keeping with our retail offering with a fresh look and feel.
When will the upgrade commence?
Works are expected to commence onsite this Apriltowards the end of June this year. We anticipate all the works will be complete in Novemberby end of October 2021.
How long will the upgrades take to complete?
We anticipate these upgrades will take approximately five months to complete with the eight monthsApril to November 2020majority of work being undertaken at night, outside trading hours.
What time of day will the works take place?
Works will mostly take place outside trading hours to minimise impact to our customers and retailers.
How do I keep up to date on the project?

How will you let customers know about this project?
We will share these exciting upgrades with our customers via our Facebook and Instagram account (@northlandshopping); our website (www.northlandsc.com.au) as well as in centre with displays, screens and signage.
What parts of the centre are included in this project?
The fashion mall and racecourse precincts will receive the ambience upgrade.
Why aren’t you doing the rest of the centre and what are the plans for these precincts?
Some key areas of the centre had received upgrades over the past few years however we are planning minor works to ensure all areas work harmoniously following the upcoming upgrade. These works are yet to be confirmed but will be communicated to you via our usual channels.
Will there be dusty works, and will the malls be impacted?
Any work that creates dust, disorder or clutter will be completed outside trading hours and with additional cleaning staff will beworking emploeach yed in the mornings to ensure the centre is clean, tidy and ready for customers in operating hours
